The Gol Gohar steelmaking and hot-rolled sheet mill, with an annual production capacity of 3 million tons of

steel, is under construction by Fakoor Sanat Tehran Engineering as the EPC contractor in the Sirjan region.

Engineering, supply, installation and commissioning of the electrical and instrumentation section is the

responsibility of Farzan Fan Andish and Rastak Pouya.

Rastak Pouya’s scope covers the oxygen, lime, melting, water-treatment, casting and rolling units, including

more than 2,000 km of cabling; more than 100 km of cable tray and ladder; installation and commissioning

of more than 1,000 cells of MV, LV, VFD, battery/charger, UPS and capacitor-bank panels; installation and

commissioning of more than 100 power and distribution transformers; installation and commissioning of

more than 7,000 instrumentation devices; lighting systems; fire alarm and firefighting systems; telephone,

paging and CCTV systems.
