Hengam Combined Cycle Power Plant consists of two Class F gas blocks and one steam unit with a nominal

capacity of 906 MW in Bandar Abbas. MAPNA Development 3, the main project contractor, completed the

first gas unit under license from Siemens Germany. This is MAPNA Group’s first Class F power plant.

Rastak Pouya Engineering was responsible for installation and pre-commissioning of the electrical and

instrumentation section of the power block and the electrical BOP. The scope included installation of three

PCC containers manufactured by Siemens Germany and MECO (gas-unit panels), installation and pre-

commissioning of seven transformers and two diesel generators, installation of high-voltage busduct and

GCB, MV/LV/UPS/AC-DC panels, cable routes/cabling/connections, instrumentation equipment, earthing

system and fire-alarm system.
